Marcia McLean is a pharmacist and Assistant Professor, Teaching Stream at the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Toronto. Marcia graduated from the University of Toronto where she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy. She later graduated from the Dalla Lana School of Public Health at the University of Toronto with a Master of Public Health degree. Marcia practiced as a clinical pharmacist at Mount Sinai Hospital for over twenty years where she was involved in several initiatives involving patient safety and quality improvement.
Marcia’s work within the health care system to date has centred around ensuring that those requiring care have safe, quality and equitable access to address their specific needs and goals. Marcia believes that all people should receive support to live their best life. Marcia is excited to be a PACE Board member and looks forward to contributing through her past experience and passion for excellent care to improve the lives of PACE’s clients.
