George is a seasoned C-suite executive and a business strategist with a background in corporate governance (for profit and not-for-profit), enterprise risk management, asset management, operation and administration. He gained his executive and board experience working on four continents.
For the last two decades George worked as the COO with companies operating in the public and private sector in Canada and abroad. Currently he is working as a Board Advisor and Energy Consultant. He also serves as a Director on Justices of the Peace Review Council, Professional Engineers of Ontario and Don Valley Community Legal Services boards. He is on the Board of Trustee of the Ontario Motor Vehicle Council Compensation Fund and on the Consumer Advisory Board of the Ontario Travel Industry Council.
He has an MSc in civil engineering from Europe, an MBA from the UK and received certification as a project management professional from the US. He feels strongly about giving back to the community and promoting access to justice and volunteers with Don Valley Community Legal Services and he is a member of the South Riverdale Community Health Center.
