How do I upload a File and like to that?

Hit the "Edit" tab for the page you'd like to upload a file to. Scroll down to "Upload a file" OR "Upload an image file" and Click on "Choose File" and navigate to the File you wish to upload from your own computer. The maximum upload size is currently set at 200KB for images and 3MB for files (documents). Only image files with the following extensions may be uploaded: jpg jpeg gif png  - for documents: PLEASE upload PDF for everything that does NOT need further editing. IN addition: please do NOT upload files that have filenames with spaces in them. Simply rename the file before you upload it. It will make linking a lot easier. Next: hit "Upload". Make note of the name of the file you've just uploaded: e.g. About-PACE_200x.jpg.

  1. to insert an image file in your page: hit the "Image" (Tree icon) button in your inline Editor and type /sites/default/files/your-file-name (where your-file-name would be About-PACE_200x.jpg in our example) in the URL Link field. Add a brief description of the image. Alignment, Border, Vertical and Horizontal space are controlled by site settings so no need to set that. If you like you can rescale your image -> just enter either width OR height to ensure your image doesn't become distorted. It's best though to resize your img BEFORE you upload it to the website.
  2. to link a bit of text to a document file you've just uploaded: please follow the instructions under B. How do I create a link to another page? The only minor difference is that you'll use the URL of the document file instead. Please note that the link itself starts with /sites (and does not include any http).
